Sint Truiden has signed 22-year-old goalkeeper Ahmad Abu Rasen from Saudi Arabia. The club plans for him to serve as a backup to Leo Kokubo, who has been one of the top goalkeepers in the Belgian Pro League. Abu Rasen previously played in the youth teams at Al-Fayha and Al-Hilal but has not made an appearance for Al-Hilal's senior team. He has also had a loan spell at NEOM SC in the Saudi second tier without first-team action. This move allows Abu Rasen to pursue opportunities in Europe, potentially increasing his chances if Kokubo attracts interest from other clubs.
