Ahmad Hardy and Cayden Green represent Missouri in USA TODAY top 100

USA TODAY selected two Missouri Tigers for its list of the top 100 college football players heading into the 2026 season. Running back Ahmad Hardy earned the No. 13 ranking following a sophomore campaign that included 1,649 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. Hardy is currently recovering from an offseason leg injury and will miss the start of the team's schedule. Offensive lineman Cayden Green appeared at No. 24 after allowing only two sacks last year and receiving All-SEC honors. Missouri opens its 2026 season at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on September 3. The program enters the year looking to improve upon an 8-5 record from the previous season under head coach Eli Drinkwitz.
