Ai Ogura will undergo a radiological examination on Tuesday to evaluate the status of his injured left thumb. The Trackhouse rider sustained the injury during a motocross training session in Japan and underwent surgery on 27 August in Barcelona. Following the procedure, he missed the Aragon Grand Prix and was replaced by test rider Lorenzo Savadori. Medical staff at the Dexeus Clinic in Barcelona will conduct the Tuesday assessment to determine if he is cleared for travel to the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix. Should he receive clearance, he must undergo a final evaluation by MotoGP Medical Director Dr. Angel Charte on Thursday at Misano to secure racing eligibility. Ogura currently holds fifth place in the MotoGP championship standings with 203 points.
