AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs expected to enhance Patriots’ run game

The New England Patriots anticipate an improved run game this season with the additions of AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs. Both players, acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers respectively, provide a new dynamic to the offense. ESPN's Mina Kimes believes their presence will allow defenses to focus less on the running game, thus creating more opportunities for ball carriers. New England averaged 128.9 rushing yards last season but saw a decline to 117.8 in the playoffs. The Patriots will begin their preseason against the Indianapolis Colts on August 13.
