A.J. Brown sustains ankle injury during Patriots loss to Seahawks

Patriots receiver A.J. Brown left Wednesday's 13-10 loss against the Seahawks in the third quarter after sustaining an ankle injury. The injury occurred while Brown attempted to catch a low pass from Drake Maye on a third-down play. Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett landed on Brown's lower leg while defending the pass. After remaining on the ground momentarily, Brown limped off the field and received an evaluation in the sideline medical tent before heading to the locker room. Head coach Mike Vrabel provided no update on the severity of the injury or the recovery timeline following the game. Brown finished his Patriots debut with three receptions for 26 yards on four targets.
