At the 2026 NBA Draft held at Barclays Center, AJ Dybantsa, selected as the No. 1 overall pick, wore a "TC5" pin on his jacket to honor the late Terrence Clarke. Dybantsa, who grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts, viewed Clarke as a mentor and big brother figure during his youth. Clarke, who passed away in 2021, played a significant role in Dybantsa's life and basketball career. Dybantsa attributed much of his success on the court to Clarke, stating he seeks to carry on his legacy in basketball.
