AJ Williams reclassifies to Class of 2027, intensifying Duke's recruiting efforts

Top prospect AJ Williams has announced his reclassification from the Class of 2028 to the Class of 2027. The 6-8 forward from Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy made the announcement on August 4, 2026. Williams was a standout performer this summer, averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds at Peach Jam. He is being heavily recruited by several schools, including Duke, UNC, Auburn, and UConn. The focus on his recruitment is expected to increase due to this change in class.
