A'ja Wilson and Olivia Miles lead WNBA quarter-season award favorites

As the 2026 WNBA season reaches its quarter mark, A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces and Olivia Miles from the Minnesota Lynx are front-runners for major awards. Wilson, a four-time MVP, leads in scoring and blocks while also earning Defensive Player of the Year consideration. Miles, the No. 2 pick in the draft, is a strong candidate for Rookie of the Year, leading all rookies in scoring and assists. Wilson's recent achievements include becoming the fastest player to 6,000 career points and setting records with multiple 40-point games. Miles has also set a rookie record for three-pointers in a game and is on track to join an elite scoring list.
