Ajax sees potential in Dies Janse over Youri Baas

Ajax is prioritizing Dies Janse over Youri Baas, viewing Janse as a stronger prospect. Baas attracted interest from FC Porto and Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, but Ajax is reportedly open to selling him if the offer aligns with their goals. Janse, who extended his contract until June 2030, had a successful loan at FC Groningen last season. He is gaining more playing time, recently starting against Sparta Rotterdam alongside Baas. Ajax's management values Janse's attributes for potential Premier League prospects, while Baas's future remains uncertain as Ajax focuses on this season's title challenge.
