Akron Zips baseball coach Bryan Faulds resigns for Washington role

Bryan Faulds has resigned as the head coach of the University of Akron baseball team, as confirmed by Zips spokesperson Brian Dennison on August 24. Faulds will join the University of Washington as the recruiting coordinator. In three seasons at Akron, Faulds led the team to a record of 56-107 and saw incremental improvement each year. His departure follows a recent season where the Zips finished with a record of 21-34 and featured two players earning All-MAC honors. Faulds previously coached at St. Edward's University and began his collegiate coaching career at the College of San Mateo.
