Al-Ahli drawn with Al Ain in Asian Champions League group stage

Al-Ahli will face former champions Al Ain in the Asian Champions League following the draw conducted in Kuala Lumpur. The league phase, expanded to 32 teams, begins on September 14 and concludes on February 17. Al-Ahli, now coached by Marino Pusic, will also play Qatar’s Al-Sadd and Emirati teams including Shabab Al Ahli. Saudi Pro League's Al-Nassr, featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, will also face Al Ain. The knockout rounds will feature the top eight teams from each continent division, with the finals set for April 23 to May 1 in Saudi Arabia.
