Al-Hilal seeks to part ways with Benzema, targets Watkins as successor

Al-Hilal aims to offload Karim Benzema, as both he and coach Simone Inzaghi desire a departure from the club. Benzema's contract situation complicates the process, involving both the club and Saudi authorities. Al-Hilal has identified Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins as a potential replacement but cannot proceed until Benzema's exit is resolved. The situation is a priority for Al-Hilal, despite the complexity of the financial arrangements surrounding Benzema's contract.
