Al-Nassr faces $280 million debt crisis linked to Ronaldo's salary

Summary

Al-Nassr is reportedly grappling with a $280 million debt crisis attributed largely to Cristiano Ronaldo's contract. Since joining the team in 2023 after his exit from Manchester United, Ronaldo has earned $625 million, contributing significantly to the financial instability while only securing one league title. The team has also invested in other high-profile players, complicating their financial situation. If this crisis continues, Al-Nassr may struggle to retain Ronaldo, whose presence has greatly impacted the league's financial engagement.
