Alabama football has secured its first running back commitment for the 2027 recruiting class. Four-star RB Nigel Newkirk from Gainesville, Georgia, chose the Crimson Tide over LSU and Ohio State. This brings Alabama’s total commitments for the class to seven, joining players like five-star QB Elijah Haven.
