Alabama basketball schedules exhibition against Furman for October

Alabama basketball will open its exhibition schedule by hosting Furman on Thursday, October 8, at Coleman Coliseum. This matchup marks the second consecutive year the two programs have met in an exhibition, following Alabama's 96-71 victory in Greenville, South Carolina, last season. The game is the first of three scheduled preseason tests for coach Nate Oats in his eighth season with the Crimson Tide. Following the contest against Furman, Alabama is slated to participate in the Ballin' in Boutwell exhibition against Ole Miss on October 15. The team will conclude its preseason preparations with an exhibition known as The Feud against Auburn on October 22. These matchups serve as the final evaluations before the program begins its official non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season.
