Alabama faces strong test from Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor

Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor is being highlighted ahead of an upcoming game against Alabama. Taylor has performed consistently, throwing for at least 227 yards in each of his team's first four games this season. Alabama's defensive coordinator Kane Wommack acknowledged that Taylor possesses skills not seen in previous years, including an effective run-pass option and the ability to extend plays. This week, Taylor will lead a high-scoring offense that has seen him throw no fewer than three touchdown passes in each game of the 2026 season. Alabama prepares to defend against Taylor's dynamic capabilities, having struggled against similar quarterbacks in past seasons.
