Alabama restricts tailgating and parking before Georgia football game

The University of Alabama is modifying pregame activities ahead of the Oct. 10 football game against Georgia due to forecasts of severe weather and high winds. Tailgating will not be allowed until noon on game day, with only uncovered tailgating permitted after that if weather conditions allow. No tailgate setups or drop-offs are permitted on Oct. 9, and any supplies placed on campus before noon will be removed. Several pregame activities have been canceled, but the Walk of Champions is still planned to occur approximately two and a half hours before the kickoff at 6:30 p.m.
