Alabama secures commitment from WR Cedrick Simmons, flips from Auburn

Cedrick Simmons, a three-star wide receiver from Selma, has committed to Alabama after initially pledging to Auburn less than a month ago. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound athlete showcased his playmaking ability last season with 106 receptions for 2,192 yards and 20 touchdowns. Simmons, who has long supported Alabama, reversed his commitment during a time when Alabama was reportedly in a good position to secure him. This adds a significant piece to Alabama's 2027 recruiting class as they continue to gain momentum on the recruiting trail.
