Alabama's Kalen DeBoer updates injury status of starting offensive linemen

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided an injury update for starters ahead of the Week 5 matchup against Mississippi State. Offensive linemen Jayvin James and William Sanders are both recovering from injuries sustained in the game against South Carolina. DeBoer expects Sanders, who has an upper-body injury, to play on Saturday, while James, dealing with a lower extremity issue, is listed as questionable. Outside linebackers Justin Hill and Desmond Umeozulu are also unavailable, with Hill expected to return sooner than Umeozulu. The Crimson Tide will face Mississippi State on October 3 at 11 a.m. CT.
