Alamo Heights improves to 2-0 after 43-14 football victory over Somerset

Alamo Heights defeated Somerset 43-14 on Friday night at Orem Stadium in San Antonio. The Mules controlled the game early by scoring on four consecutive possessions in the first half to secure their second win of the season. Quarterback Easton Stone threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns, while running back William Bishop contributed 154 rushing yards and two scores. Somerset, playing its first official game of the season, found the end zone on a 27-yard reception by John Alvarez but could not keep pace with the Mules' 589 total yards. Alamo Heights continues its non-district schedule next Friday against Southwest. The loss marks the first outing for the Bulldogs, whose previous game against Southside was canceled due to weather.
