Alan Faneca and Patrick Peterson nominated for 2027 College Football Hall of Fame

Alan Faneca and Patrick Peterson, both former LSU Tigers, are nominated for induction into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame in 2027. The ballot announced includes 80 players and nine coaches from NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision, along with 99 players and 39 coaches from NCAA divisional and NAIA levels. Faneca, known for a distinguished NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and other teams, has already been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Peterson was recognized for both his college achievements at LSU and his NFL career, primarily with the Arizona Cardinals. Announcements regarding the 2027 Hall of Fame Class will be made in January, with the induction ceremony set for December 2027.
