Alan Shearer advises Liam Delap to join Newcastle from Chelsea

Alan Shearer has recommended Liam Delap consider a transfer to Newcastle United as the summer transfer window nears its end. Delap, who has struggled to find playing time at Chelsea, is reportedly open to the move after a disappointing season. Shearer criticized Delap's decision to sign with Chelsea last year, stating that he needs consistent playing minutes to develop his career. While Newcastle is interested, Chelsea's asking price of up to £50 million may pose a challenge for negotiations. Delap previously signed with Chelsea for £30 million from Ipswich Town, scoring only once in 28 league appearances last season.
