Aldershot Town defender Ollie Harfield returns from long-term knee injury

Aldershot Town defender Ollie Harfield returned to action on Tuesday night during a National League Cup match against West Ham U21s. The 28-year-old played 34 minutes in his first appearance since suffering a severe knee injury in September 2024. During that incident, Harfield tore ligaments and dislocated his knee, an injury that nearly resulted in the loss of his leg. Despite being told by nine individuals that his professional football career was over, he completed his rehabilitation after 717 days on the sidelines.
