Alejandro Balde offered to AS Roma as Barcelona exit nears

Summary

Alejandro Balde may leave Barcelona in January as his agent Jorge Mendes explores options with AS Roma. Balde has lost his starting spot under coach Hansi Flick, prompting interest from the Italian side, which seeks a left-back. Reports suggest a possible loan with an option to buy, allowing Roma to assess Balde before a permanent transfer while minimizing upfront costs. This arrangement is still under discussion, and no formal approach has been made yet. Balde’s future is uncertain due to competition for places at Barcelona, where he trails behind Joao Cancelo and Xavi Espart.
