Alex Golesh implements offensive continuity for Auburn football program

Auburn football enters the season under head coach Alex Golesh, who was hired following the conclusion of the 2025 season. Despite a roster turnover that saw 36 players depart and 40 arrive, the team incorporates a core group of transfers from South Florida. Among the newcomers is quarterback Byrum Brown, who joins several former South Florida receivers on the Plains. The coaching staff also includes offensive coordinator Joel Gordon, offensive line coach Tyler Hudanick, and wide receivers coach Kodi Burns. Defensively, the program retained coordinator DJ Durkin, who led a unit that allowed 20.7 points per game last season.
