Alexa McLean coaches the Hopatcong boys soccer team

Alexa McLean has taken over as the head coach of the Hopatcong boys soccer team. McLean, who previously coached girls soccer at the Academy of St. Elizabeth, was an assistant for the Hopatcong boys program two years ago. She manages the team while working as a Spanish and English as a Second Language teacher. In her first game, the team lost to Sussex Tech by a score of 2-1. McLean joins Dominique Ocello as one of the few female head coaches currently leading boys high school soccer teams in New Jersey. She plans to continue her standard training methods and remains focused on creating a positive team environment for the season.
