Alexandr Shabliy faces Landry Ward at PFL Chicago in October

The PFL announced that Alexandr Shabliy will return to the cage on October 16 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Shabliy faces Landry Ward in a lightweight matchup as part of the event. Shabliy looks to establish a new winning streak after a defeat to Usman Nurmagomedov in his most recent outing. His opponent, Landry Ward, enters the contest on a three-fight winning streak following a split-decision victory over Michael Boylan in August. The event is headlined by a women’s flyweight title rematch between Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop. Additional bouts added to the card include a heavyweight match between Denis Goltsov and Maxwell Djantou Nana, along with a bantamweight fight featuring Sarvarjon Khamidov and Rafael do Nascimento.
