Garry claimed that the video was filmed without his consent, but Pergande contests that it was recorded in the presence of Garry’s wife and training partner Chris Curtis, and asserts he was never asked to stop filming. He believes Garry’s accusations are a distraction ahead of Garry's upcoming title fight against Islam Makhachev at UFC 330 on August 15.
