Alfred Johansson takes charge as Motherwell manager ahead of new season

Alfred Johansson has been appointed as the new manager of Motherwell after Jens Berthel Askou's departure. Johansson aims to build on last season’s success in the Scottish Premiership, where the team finished fourth and secured European football for the upcoming campaign. He expressed confidence in the squad's capabilities and plans to maintain a high-intensity style of play. Johansson previously managed in Norway with Rosenborg and is focusing on preparing the team for their upcoming Conference League qualifier against Havnar Boltfelag next month.
