Alpine reserve driver Paul Aron will compete in Italian Grand Prix practice

Alpine reserve driver Paul Aron will return to the cockpit for the first practice session at the upcoming Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Aron is set to replace Pierre Gasly for the duration of the Friday session. This appearance marks his fourth practice outing of the 2026 season, following previous sessions in Barcelona, Austria, and Hungary. After completing his track duties, Aron will travel to the team’s Enstone headquarters to conduct simulator work focused on fine-tuning car set-ups for the remainder of the weekend. The Monza weekend will also feature Gasly and teammate Franco Colapinto utilizing an updated car package previously introduced in Zandvoort. Aron intends to use his practice time to gather data and assist the team in evaluating these recent technical upgrades.
