Altrincham signs Harry Isted as goalkeeper cover for Owen Evans

Altrincham has signed goalkeeper Harry Isted from Forest Green Rovers to provide cover for the injured Owen Evans. Evans will be unavailable for the next few months after sustaining an injury during a match against Woking. Andy Firth has stepped in as a substitute, but Altrincham manager Neil Gibson indicated that Firth's additional responsibilities as a goalkeeping coach necessitated the signing of Isted. Isted, who made 30 National League appearances last season, is set to be available for Altrincham's match against Gateshead on Tuesday.
