Alun Wyn Jones joins Ospreys board as director before 2026-27 season

Alun Wyn Jones has been appointed as a director of Ospreys, effective immediately, ahead of the 2026-27 season. The former Wales captain returns to the club amid significant uncertainty as the Welsh Rugby Union aims to reduce the number of professional teams to three. Jones, who debuted for Ospreys in 2005, aims to contribute his extensive knowledge of rugby and business to support the club's future growth. Ospreys will play their first match at the newly renovated St Helen's against Dragons on October 24.
