Álvarez shifts representation focus after split with Hidalgo

Julián Álvarez has parted ways with his representative Fernando Hidalgo following Barcelona's unsuccessful attempt to sign him from Atlético Madrid. The split comes after Álvarez indicated a desire to leave the club following Argentina’s World Cup victory against Austria. Atlético Madrid rejected Barcelona's €100 million offer in favor of Álvarez’s €500 million buyout fee, causing tension between the clubs. The move aims to decrease internal friction, although it does not necessarily resolve the issues regarding his status at Atlético. Álvarez’s current focus is on solidifying his position within Diego Simeone's squad as they prepare to face Alavés on October 10.
