Amaya Harris transfers from Troy High to Darrow School for basketball

Amaya Harris, a standout basketball player from Troy High, has transferred to Darrow School, effective immediately. The 15-year-old guard, who led her team to the Class AA final and was named MVP, had been evaluating her options over the summer. After discussions with her father and coach, Will Harris, she decided that playing at Darrow would provide a higher level of competition for her development. The move follows her successful performance in the New York vs. New York event, where she impressed with the NY Gauchos. Harris is now set to compete in the highly competitive New England Preparatory School Athletic Council alongside top athletes.
