American Affair claims King George Qatar Stakes at Goodwood

American Affair secured victory in the King George Qatar Stakes at Goodwood on July 31. The horse, trained by Jim Goldie and ridden by Paul Mulrennan, showed a strong performance to catch up with Rumstar and Time For Sandals toward the finish. This success follows a challenging period for American Affair, who missed much of the previous season due to injury. Prior to this race, American Affair had a second-place finish in May at Haydock. Future races for the horse may include the Nunthorpe and the Haydock Sprint Cup, based on the positive performance today.
