Ames Tribune athletes of the week nominees announced for Sept. 13-19

The Ames Tribune has announced nominees for its Athlete of the Week for the period of Sept. 13-19. Female candidates include Miley Geise of Roland-Story, who excelled at the DNH Invitational, and Naya Nakama from Ames, who won her event at the Waukee Invitational. On the male side, Logan Bleich from Gilbert achieved a personal-best at the Roy Griak Invitational. Other nominees include Braylen Chambers from Ames and Gage Krogh from Ballard, who both made notable contributions in football matches.
