Analyst questions Browns' plans to re-sign Deshaun Watson this offseason

The Cleveland Browns, currently 4-2 this season, face a crucial decision regarding Deshaun Watson's future. Analyst Moe Moton suggests the Browns may prioritize drafting a quarterback in 2027 over re-signing Watson, who has not played at the level expected of a three-time Pro Bowl player. Watson's performance will need to significantly improve, including leading the team to a playoff win, to warrant serious consideration for a new contract. Ongoing discussions about Watson's future could shape the Browns' strategy in the upcoming offseason.
