Analysts identify Fresno State coach Matt Entz as Power Four candidate

Fresno State head coach Matt Entz is considered a top contender for a Power Four coaching position in 2027. Entz went 60-11 at North Dakota State before moving to a defensive assistant role at USC in 2024 and then taking the helm at Fresno State, where he led the team to a 9-4 record. With the Bulldogs now competing in the Pac-12, Entz is preparing for a season-opening game against USC at the LA Coliseum.
