Analysts provide varied rankings for the Jaguars ahead of Week 1

National analysts have published their initial 2026 NFL power rankings as the Jacksonville Jaguars prepare for a home game against the Cleveland Browns. Rankings for the team vary across outlets, ranging from as high as seventh by Bleacher Report to fourteenth in lists from USA Today, Yahoo Sports, and Pro Football Focus. The team seeks a strong start following a 13-win 2025 campaign, though concerns persist regarding the running back rotation and the offensive line's health. Key roster questions include the integration of rookie guard Emmanuel Pregnon and the availability of tackle Cole Van Lanen for the season opener. Head coach Liam Coen enters his second year with the team, aiming to build on a defense that helped secure the AFC South title last season. Following the matchup with Cleveland, the Jaguars face a difficult schedule stretch including games against Denver, the Patriots, and the Bengals.
