Analysts suggest Miami Heat should pursue reunion with Gabe Vincent

The Miami Heat are linked to a potential return for guard Gabe Vincent, who is currently a free agent. Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus proposed the reunion to provide veteran backcourt depth behind Davion Mitchell. Vincent previously played for the Miami Heat, where he served as a contributor during two NBA Finals runs. He later joined the Los Angeles Lakers before a trade sent him to the Atlanta Hawks at the February deadline last season. While he shot 36.9% from three-point range during his final stretch with the Los Angeles Lakers, his time in Atlanta proved less effective with his shooting percentage dropping to 30%. The Miami Heat have already strengthened their perimeter shooting this summer by signing Tim Hardaway Jr. and Klay Thompson to short-term deals. Vincent remains an unsigned free agent awaiting his next opportunity.
