Anan Khalaili joins Crystal Palace after Inter deal collapses

Summary

Anan Khalaili has signed with Crystal Palace on a permanent deal, departing from Union Saint-Gilloise. Initially, he was set to join Inter Milan, which he considered his first choice. However, medical complications regarding a cardiac issue prevented the transfer due to stringent Italian regulations. Khalaili’s agent stated the medical certification issue was resolved quickly in the UK, allowing him to proceed with Crystal Palace instead. The transfer saga underscores differences in player medical regulations between Italy and England.
