Evan Dreyer, head football coach at Anderson High School, will miss the team's season opener on August 21 against Louisville Trinity due to a one-game suspension for violating Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) regulations related to off-season practices. Violations included allowing more than the permitted number of players to receive coaching during the off-season. The school carried out an investigation after a report from strength coach Adam Szabo substantiated the violations. Dreyer's coaching staff will also face probation and must undergo ethics training.
