Andrew Armstrong joins the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad

The Kansas City Chiefs signed wide receiver Andrew Armstrong to the practice squad on Monday. The move follows his release during the team’s final roster cuts this past weekend. Armstrong went unclaimed on waivers, allowing him to return to the organization where he spent time during the preseason. He recorded seven catches for 85 yards across three exhibition games this summer. Kansas City faces uncertainty at the receiver position due to the injury histories of Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy.
