Andrew Painter shines as Phillies extend winning streak to eight games

Andrew Painter delivered an impressive performance on the mound as the Philadelphia Phillies secured a 12-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on August 23. This win marks the Phillies' eighth consecutive victory, showcasing their strong offensive display. Painter's performance follows a challenging situation for the team after they sought to acquire a fifth starter earlier this month. With their current form, the Phillies aim to maintain momentum in their upcoming games.
