Andy Diouf earns preliminary call to Zinédine Zidane’s first France squad

Inter Milan defender Andy Diouf received a preliminary call-up to the French national team as part of the initial squad selection under new manager Zinédine Zidane. The 23-year-old right-back moved to the Serie A club from RC Lens last summer and has started all three matches for the team in the 2026–27 campaign. Diouf has contributed two assists during his current run of form, following a previous season where he logged 29 appearances and scored four goals during a successful domestic double. Having represented the France Under-21 side with 10 caps, the Neuilly-sur-Seine native is now in consideration for the senior team ahead of four upcoming Nations League group stage matches.
