Andy Gorvin named Glamorgan captain for One Day Cup

Andy Gorvin has been appointed as Glamorgan's captain for the 2026 Metro Bank One-Day Cup. The 28-year-old seam-bowler previously led the team to victories in the competition during his debut season in 2021 and again in 2024. Director of cricket Mark Wallace praised Gorvin's leadership qualities, especially with several players away participating in The Hundred. Gorvin expressed enthusiasm for harnessing the potential of younger players alongside seasoned teammates as they prepare for their opening match against Sussex at the Gnoll, Neath on July 22.
