Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed Garrett Nussmeier will start at quarterback in the preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks on Friday. Chris Oladokun remains in concussion protocol and Nussmeier, who performed well in earlier preseason games, is set to share time with him if Oladokun is cleared. Reid also left the door open for Justin Fields to serve as the emergency quarterback. Nussmeier completed 9 of 17 passes for 74 yards in his last appearance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
