Reid indicated that Mahomes has participated in practice without missing time despite wearing a brace on his leg. Mahomes, who suffered a knee injury in Week 15 of last season, did not play during the preseason. While he participated in team workouts and warmups, Reid noted the quarterback has shown no limitations in his movement or passing during recent sessions. Barring any unexpected setbacks over the next few days, Mahomes is set to lead the offense in the season opener.
