Angel Reese leaves game after elbow to the face from Sabrina Ionescu

Angel Reese of the Atlanta Dream exited their game against the New York Liberty after an elbow to the face from Sabrina Ionescu, who received a flagrant foul for the incident. The Dream were leading 83-65 at the time of the injury, which occurred just before halftime. Reese returned to shoot her free throws but did not play in the second half. Liberty's Jonquel Jones also left the game with an ankle injury. Both teams had already clinched playoff spots, with the Dream finishing the regular season at 30-14 and the Liberty at 26-18.
