Angels fire pitching coach Mike Maddux and two assistants amid struggles

The Los Angeles Angels have reportedly terminated pitching coach Mike Maddux, assistant pitching coach Darryl Scott, and bullpen coach Dom Chiti. This decision comes as the team struggles, sitting at 45-74 and ranking 24th in MLB with a 4.53 ERA. Maddux, who joined the Angels in the offseason on a one-year contract, was unable to improve the pitching staff's performance, which has been marred by the most walks in MLB. The Angels will need to evaluate their approach as they continue their challenging season.
